Trauma & PTSD Therapy
Healing happens when you finally feel safe enough to look at what happened.

You might be here because…
Something happened — maybe recently, maybe a long time ago — and you can’t seem to move past it. You get triggered by things that shouldn’t bother you. You feel on edge, or numb, or somewhere between the two. Sleep is a battle. Trust feels impossible. You might not even think of it as “trauma” — maybe it was “just” a difficult childhood, a bad relationship, a loss you never processed.
But your body remembers. The hypervigilance, the nightmares, the avoidance, the emotional flashbacks — these aren’t signs that something is wrong with you. They’re signs that your system is still trying to protect you from something that already happened.
Trauma isn’t what happened to you. It’s what got stuck inside.
Trauma leaves parts of you frozen in time — carrying the fear, the helplessness, the grief from the original experience. These parts continue to operate as if the threat is still present. They trigger fight-or-flight responses, shut down your emotions, or push people away before they can hurt you again.
This isn’t a character flaw. It’s an intelligent survival system that hasn’t been updated. The good news is that it can be — gently, safely, at your own pace.
How We Work Together
Trauma therapy that doesn’t retraumatize.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we approach trauma differently. We don’t force you to relive painful experiences or push through distress. Instead, we build a relationship with the parts of you that carry the trauma — the ones frozen in fear, locked in grief, or hardened in anger — and we help them feel safe enough to let go of what they’ve been holding.
This is the heart of the Inner Leadership framework — learning to lead your inner system with compassion and presence. When parts feel witnessed and understood by your own Self, healing happens naturally. You don’t need to white-knuckle your way through recovery. You need to come home to yourself.
Sessions move at your pace. We only go as deep as your system is ready to go. Safety comes first — always.
